** SOLD **

Sadly, after only a half year of ownership, I have decided to put my LX 470 on the market. I am buying a new Ram pickup to better suit my daily driver needs. This is a great 100 and I will probably regret selling it. I bought it through the Mud classifieds from an older gentleman in Scottsdale AZ who had just upgraded to a 2006.

A few facts / notes. I am picky and thorough, and I don't like wasting anyone's time by omitting anything:
- 169k miles give or take (edit: actually just turned 170 this morning)
- impeccable mechanical condition; needs nothing. Starts / runs / drives normally. A very slight shimmy at 59-60 mph only, probably needs a tire balanced.
- AC & heat work normally
- TB and WP replaced on schedule at 89k
- AHC components (shocks, accumulators, fluid) replaced by PO around 150k
- synthetic oil change, new spark plugs, new coil packs in last 2k miles at Kuni Lexus in Denver
- rust free body as you would expect; undercarriage looks typical of a truck in the southwest. Said another way: if you are from the Midwest, you would call the undercarriage rust-free. If you are from Tuscon, you would take issue with random orange specs on a few nuts or bolts. Make sense? The Carfax shows this was a California and Arizona car for over 12 years, in Scottsdale AZ for 2 more years (but registered in N Dakota), and here is SW Colorado for 6 months.
- interior in near perfect condition (maybe 9.5 out of 10), save for a very small chip on the steering wheel and a fade at the elbow on the drivers door; driver's seat looks good, as does the rest of the leather, dash and carpet.
- exterior is 8 out of ten, just scratches and chips typical of age. The exception is a small dent on the passenger door, which could probably be pulled by a PDR guy. Also the passenger glass is scratched (it appears something fell against the door during prior ownership). See the two pics below.
- No known accidents or body / paint work
- the mods I have made are few: tinted front windows in the correct bronze metallic film (thanks Danny Noonan!), installed hitch and wiring, and installed black rear window deflector (it's dusty in SW Colorado, and this helps keep it clear). Interior lights upgraded to LEDs from Pfran.
- Also has OE 16" LC rims, professionally powdercoated in matte black ($380). Has matching stock size Michelin LTX M/S tires with over half tread remaining (275/70/16).
- includes master and valet keys
- includes clean third row seats, not included in pics
- clean, clear Colorado title

Everything operates and works as it should, except for two things:
- the OE Nakamichi CD player will not play CDs (very common); radio works fine. Speakers are fine.
- the drivers seat will not go up and down in height, but other adjustments work normally including moving fore and aft. Memory function works normally except for height control.

The ONLY thing this LX needs to be complete is a spare tire. Also, for the right price, I will include a set of 5 OE 18" LX rims.

Feel free to speak to Jeff, my service advisor at Kuni Lexus. I can send you the VIN. He owns a '98 himself. They did a thorough inspection when I had it there for service in April. Nothing found, save for a need for a new rear wiper blade (for their price of $65, I took care of that myself...).

Extensive service records on the Lexus site; the printout in my files is 9 pages long.

The price: $9500 if you want the extra rims, 9250 if you don't. Cash or bank transfer.

Why the low price? 3 reasons: (1) I am motivated to make room in my garage; (2) it will need another TB / WP service in the next 10k miles; but more importantly (3) this is what I paid. I got a great deal 6 months ago and would like to pay it forward to someone on this site. A fellow mudder deserves a truck like this. I welcome all questions and inquiries, third party inspections that you arrange, or I can do a complete walk-around by phone / facetime / etc. I would rather you kill me with questions - I know full well the anxiety and uncertainty longer distance transactions can pose. All I ask is that if you commit to buy, please value my time and follow through and / or communicate frequently and openly. That is what you can expect from me.

I have only listed the truck for sale on this site. Not wanting to venture into the perils of CL or fleabay just yet.

Located in SW Colorado / Durango area. If you PM me here, I can send you my cell number to call or text.

Regards.

I remember seeing that truck last year. It looks super clean and seems like a great deal. I would have loved to pick this up for my fiancee (she misses my 100), but she puts about 25k a year on her vehicles and won't do anything but a 30+mpg car.

Thanks, McG. Yes, it is the same one - and very clean.
