Just purchased a 99 LC and I am occasionally get a horrendous noise when i got over a larger bump or dip in the road. I initially thought it was the new tires I put on rubbing, but I don't think 275/65/18 would be doing that. Plus, when i go over bumps slowly i dont get the sound. I am thinking the shocks are just about shot. So I have a two part question.
1. Can anyone confirm my suspicion on the shocks making the sound
2. If it is shocks and i need them replaced, should i just go ahead an do a minor lift and put some aftermarket stuff on here? This is an every day driver so I don't want to get out of control on the mods, but I am definitely getting hooked on adding stuff.
