1999 LC Airbags and Bump Stop

I'm familiar with Air Lift bags for my other vehicles but none of them had the bump stops in the way like our LC.

For those that have installed Airbags, were the bump stops removed or did you add other types in a different location?

1999 with OEM Springs and 285/75R16 tires.

Also, anyone know where to get the Bilstein Airbag version?

For the Air Lift 1000, remove bump stops.

Every thread or video I've found about the springs / bump stops already has them removed.

I'm trying to do my homework before I dig in since this is my wife's DD.

Are they bolted in from the top or held in place by the spring?

As mentioned above, for Airlift 1000s the bump stop is removed.

The bump stop has one bolt holding it in, from the bottom in the hole in the center.

I’m actually doing this today on my 1999 LX470.

Picture is Land Cruiser AHC spring, Air Lift 60728 bag, and Slee 30mm spacer.

The bump stop is removed to allow bag to expand.
