Looking to get rid of this engine that I replaced from my 1999 Land Cruiser. This engine currently is non functioning and has been stripped to the block then loosely put back together. Engine has 247k on it.
Overall it’s in good shape besides lost compression and a rod knock from rag being sucked into intake. This engine is the perfect rebuild candidate with very minimal, if any at all, milling of the block. Cylinders are in perfect condition, but bearings, rings, and wrist pins will need to be rebuilt. I don’t have pictures of the cylinders, but if you need me to take it apart again to see them I can. They still have the original cross hatching and there is zero pitting.
Asking $200 located in south Denver metro area. Price is very flexible so make an offer. Would be a great learning engine for someone to take apart and put back together to learn.
