1998 with178k vs 1999 with230

The first one is a 98 with aftermarket stereo equipment and functioning AHC. The second one is a 99, but the AC is in-op and the AHC does not work, 230K miles. It is really clean otherwise and just went through the auction. I'm thinking the PO took it to a shop and got sticker shock on repair. Just a guess though.

The 98 has a bunch of stereo equipment aftermarket, and the crappy stock chrome Lexus 16 inch rims.

I'll obviously need to powder coat and or paint to remove all that garish chrome. The 99 has some cool Foose rims probably worth money, but definitely not suitable for Off Road.

The dealer that has the 99 is going to clean it up and hopefully get the air conditioning working, if not I'll have to spring for the 98?

I'd go for the 98 either way. 50k less miles and the 99 has broken AC and AHC? Seems like an obvious choice to me.

The price difference is $350. I know nothing about AHC and AC, but I dont think you can fix both for $350. Then there is the 50K less miles...

Unless you live in the desert and need the rear life-support (currently in-op) I'd go 98. But dual AC is nice. Both seem high $ if your going to have to rehab/replace suspension. You're then in the realm of 2000 LC, with no AHC worries.
