This isn't my 'Cruiser, but when I was doing my daily rounds on CL this came up. Nice build, low miles and it's got a supercharger!

OT: but once you add the S/C to a 1998-2002 model, isnt the power then on par with the vvt 2003-2007 model? Thought I saw a dyno comparison on here at some point

S/C is alluring but in reality you can get the same power boost benefit by just buying newer

VVTI engines didn't start until '06, I believe, so you may be right, but that's a big jump in price to go new enough.

I was searching for this dyno but couldn't find it - but my search skills can be off at times. I would be surprised, though, that a vvti engine without a SC would be close to the numbers on a pre-vvti engine but with a SC. It would be interesting to see the findings, for sure.... :)
