Okay, I have done some searching here, also at Crutchfield, Metra...and the local car stereo shop.

I can't find a harness for the LX.

Is there something I'm missing?

Any help would be appreciated.

Here's what I have in terms of the OEM HU.

Also, is there a trim ring that will match the curve of the dash for my aftermarket double DIN?

There is no ready available harness adapter for the LX. The LC has a different wire arrangement and there are harnesses for that.

As part of my nav conversion project I will be developing a solution but that's a 2012 thing. At this point cut the plug or use vampire taps for the wires you need... no big deal.

Yup,

I've been doing more searching.

Doesn't look like I'm going to get this done before Thursday.

Damn.

So, I keep coming across LX's either having a Nakamichi system or a Mark L system.

Which one do I have?? No branding on the front like other pics I've seen. It's labeled Fujitsu Ten Limited as the Mfg. Is this a third brand that came in the LX?

At least I found a trim ring, damn!! freaking expensive!

I went with the beatsonic kit for my LX with the ML stereo. Very nice! Very $.

You likely have the base standard stereo. The Nak system was an option. As for the trim ring, I heard it was expensive... Someone here got a double din pioneer stereo a while back and found a trim ring to match, I can't remember who though but I remember him saying it was a tad pricey...

I went with this BeatSonic part. Does both the wiring and trim for an LX with the ML system.

Not impressive, foolish.. I spent less than that but still WAY too much. Whatever it's done and it looks great and sounds great. They did not used to offer the Bezel and the brackets seperate...... Bitter...

I just recommend cutting the connector.... No one is ever putting a stock stereo back after having aftermarket. If some are worried about it just leave pig tails on the connector and re solder it.

OP could use Lexi4Darin's technique. Just replace the center bezel with an LC 3 dial. ;)

The real issue was the bezel.. The ML HU has a curved front face not flat, there is a HUGE gap around the center bezel and the HU, plus when I first installed my ML HU was dead but i couldn't afford the amp and speakers, so i went with the kit, then once i installed the amp, i bypassed the line level out from the HU to the Beatsonic adapter, everything including the dimmer circuit works, with the exception of the Power Antenna issue that you addressed in your thread.

You guys may not be aware but the LC has different radio mounting brackets than an LX. Swapping to the LC brackets goes a long way in mitigating the need for a curved bezel. The LC brackets move the head unit forward.

I'm not saying don't buy a $120 bezel but $15 in brackets and $10 in ABS from Tapp can solve a lot.
