I first noticed something was up when I would get out of the truck and the chime wouldn't stop. Then I realized that the fob wouldn't lock the doors, tried to lock them from the inside and they just unlock automatically. The only way I can get them to lock is to manually turn the key from the outside of the truck. I assume this is something with the ignition switch but I can't figure it out. Has anyone else had this issue?
1998 Cruiser thinks the key is still in the ignition.
