Ok it's time to sell my rig as I've upgraded to a LX470. I'm the third owner. The second owner had it for about a year which his wife used as a daily driver and ended up not liking the mileage they were getting. I purchased it when it had about 130K miles, it now has 140K. After purchasing it I proceeded to take care of all the deferred maintenance items to include:
Right after purchase (~ 130K)
- New front discs and callipers with SS hoses
- Rear brake job
- Flushed brake fluid
- Old Man Emu medium duty springs and Nitro shock installed with 4 wheel alignment included
- Adjustable panhard bar purchased from Soranson and installed at the same time as the springs and shocks at the same shop.
Maintenace at 140k miles
- Toyo fuel filter change
- Spark plugs
- Amsoil lube for front, center and rear diff (I've seen about a 1mpg increase - I think because of this and the spark plug changes)
- Oil changed every 3k miles so about 3 times since I had the truck with original Toyo oil and air filter
- New Flowmaster muffler
I started to build it a trail rig (i.e. OME suspension) but ended up never taking it anywhere off road. It also has the rear diff lock. I also purchased 4 new tires which are the Toyo Open Country AT 265/75/16.
What doesn't work:
- The electronic clock (surprise, surprise)
- Antenna
The not so pretty:
- Cracked driver's seat leather (see photo)
- Slight Bump in bumper driver's side (see photo) which is not really noticable
I am in Chicago and will be listing it on craigslist. I also have a carfax I can email for any one seriously interested. It’s about 10 pages long from the first owner who had every little thing done at the Toyo dealer.
