1997 Toyota Landcruiser 4x4
1997 Toyota Landcruiser 40th Anniversary Edition - Located in Scripps Ranch area of San Diego.
1997 is the last year of the 80 Series (FZJ80). It has the reliable 1FZ engine which is 4.5 liter, straight 6-cylinder, 24-valve, DOHC.
217K miles, A/C, power windows, power locks, 3rd row seating for 7 passengers, Michelins 80% tread, climate control, moon roof, leather seats, 4-wheel disc brakes.
This Landcruiser does not have locking differentials.
Here is my list of what is wrong with the vehicle:
-There is a dent on the front of the hood and on the front bumper where I hit some bouncing metal on the freeway.
-The front seat has split at a seam
-The engine has a slow oil leak somewhere in front and low. About a quart of oil every 1-2 months.
-The clear coat had started to lift and peel in places on the hood (see pic)
-The catalytic converter rattles sometimes.
