For sale is 1997 Toyota Landcruiser Collector's Edition. It is "sandune" color, as the manual calls it. It DOES HAVE lockers!!! I had purchased this LC back in 2006 with 155,000 miles and now it has 164,xxx miles. I am the third owner of the vehicle. The first owner leased it from a local Cincinnati dealership and the second owner was an older doctor that drove the truck for a few years. I am the third owner and I have only put about 9,000 miles on the truck in the span of 4 years. The Carfax on this truck is clean...no accidents, no damage, no fraud. It has never been off road/rock craweled/or been in mud.
The reason I am selling the Cruiser is because I never drive it. I have a second vehicle that is my daily driver. I love the truck and have always loved the Landcruisers therefore it was my initial wish to have it as a modded adventure vehicle, but after 4 years of owning it and never really driving it I think it could find better hands.
The good:
- Front and rear factory lockers
- Paint and interior in great shape
- Drives great, shifts smooth
- Had all the fluids changed when I bought it. Changed oil every
3K miles
- Brand new battery with 3 yr replacement warranty
The good or bad depending how you look at it:
- It has a homemade 8500 lbs winch cut out in stock bumper
- Class III hitch
- Rear door wing
The bad:
- Needs new exhaust with a new oxygen sensor. ( I had my
catalytic converter stolen and a new one installed but the
new welds started to leak so it sounds rough)
- Antenna mast is broken
- The AC does not blow as cold as it used to
- Has a rust spot on the back door that can be easily fixed
Other stuff that goes with the truck:
- Rear light guards that are not installed. They need to be drilled into the body to be mounted.
- Factory manual downloaded and saved on a disc.
