Hey Everyone -
I have a beautiful 1997 Toyota Landcruiser 40th Anniversary Limited Edition for sale. My new car just arrived, so I have decided to put this up for sale. At one point I swore I never would, but I don't need a 4th vehicle so here it is. I have a ton of service records, and Mobile-1 synthetic oil has been used for oil changes. It just passed VA State inspection and is ready for a new owner - it currently has 119,500 miles and is ready for a couple hundred thousand more! Asking price is $15,000/or best offer - I will say that you'll be hard pressed to find one nicer. All highway miles - no offroad use!

This truck is in great condition inside and out, and I get comments on it regularly as these are very hard to find in this condition.

Exterior:I believe the color is called "Antique Sage Pearl" and it shines beautifully as you can see by the pictures. I would rate the exterior a 9 out of 10, as there are only a few minor scratches - I took a picture of the main one which is on the bottom of the driver door. There are NO dings, dents, or anything of the sort. It has a roof rack, running boards and a custom-ordered TJM Australia tube-style brush guard ($2,000) that was custom paint matched as well, with metal Hella lights in the center (which are removable). The rear tow package assembly has been paint matched as well. The rims are in mint condition, and are 2-tone with Michelin tires. There are 40th Anniversary badges on both sides of the vehicle. This Landcruiser has been adult, non-smoker owned its entire life.

Interior: The interior is a 9 out of 10 as well. There are a few very small stains on the carpet that could probably be gotten out, but other than that, most of the carpet is perfect and the seats are near perfect as well. Up until a year or so ago, the front seats have always had sheepskin seatcovers on them since 2000, and an upholstery shop made custom fitting seatcovers for the rear seats and custom matching "seat bags" for the removable 3rd seats as well. I took a picture of the seat covers on, and then peeled them back to show the condition of the seat - perfect. The 3rd row seats have been used less than 5 times. The dash, woodgrain accents, etc are near mint, and everything on the vehicle works flawlessly. 40th anniversary badge with serial #3750 on the console.

Features: -Automatic Transmission, 6-cylinder engine -4-wheel drive (4H/4L) -Power windows, locks, mirrors, seats -Power sunroof -CD & Cassette Stereo -Rear heat (from back of center console) -tow package

Lockers? Couldn't see it that good in the picture. Looks real clean.

I believe that would be a switch on the left of the steering wheel for locking diff, correct? It does not have that....hopefully that is what you are asking.

That's correct.

ANY rust underneath? Surface rust, etc. Great looking pictures. Where in NVA are you?

No rust at all, and the underneath is clean - I am located in Warrenton, VA 20186. - Steve

Looks great!

Would it be possible to post some pics of the chassis?

Also, any major maintenance done (ie. knuckles, brakes, etc.)?

I will try to take some more pictures on Saturday and send them if you can give me an email address, as I don't think this forum will let me post any more - front and rear brakes have been recently replaced in the last year - I don't think that any real "major" work has been done in the last few years - mainly just oil changes, a sensor or two, power antenna, etc...it basically has been used as a highway truck - no offroad use, etc. Thanks for the questions -

I've seen this truck around town and have gotten a fairly close look.
It's clean and appears well cared for, in my opinion

All,

Thank you for your responses and inquiries. Someone used the "buy it now" option on ebay this morning and bought the cruiser. Thanks again and good luck to you all!
