1996 Toyota Land Cruiser, AWD, Front/Rear/Center Locking differentials
1996 Toyota Land Cruiser, AWD, Front/Rear/Center Locking differentials, LOW MILES!
This is a completely stock vehicle. You either see these with a boat load of miles, lower miles and a HUGE price tag, or already suped-up with offroad gear and rode hard and put up wet. I purchased this vehicle with the intent of building an offroading rockcrawling expedition rig, but I just don’t have the time and I have too many toys already. If I had the room I would keep it. I have never driven an SUV that drove as well on and offroad.
For those who do not know, this model of Land Cruiser (FZJ80) was the first production vehicle to cross the Antarctic. This is arguably the most capable factory SUV ever made. This model has a solid front axle and factory lockers, which make it highly desirable and absolutely awesome off-road. Look up FZJ80 on Youtube and you can see for yourself...
The Good:
Clean inside and out. There are no dings or dents, and the paint looks better than most new vehicles. I plan to have it professionally detailed this week.
LOW MILES 155,000
Indestructible 4.5L inline 6-cylinder – Starts everytime and runs like a top. These are known to run 500,000 miles with no problems
Automatic Transmission – Shifts like a champ – Two modes “power” and “2nd start” – Power is self-explanatory, but 2nd start is for driving on ice.
Full-time 4x4, Locking transfer case, FRONT AND REAR FACTORY LOCKERS (This is super rare and was an expensive option from the factory)
Tow package
Brand New Tires
Power everything and it ALL works
Leather seating throughout, third row seating, seats 7 and still has room in the back for gear.
I took the running boards off, but I still have them
The Bad:
Clear coat on plastic tire flares pealing.
Seam in bottom of drives seat needs re-sown
THAT’S IT!
I would prefer cash or trade towards an 05-06 Quadcab Dodge Diesel. I might consider partial trade for guns or something fun.
$8000 or make me an offer. The worst I can say is "nope," but it you are too far off I will probably just ignore you.
