That would make the best expo rig ever since it is big enough to be a motorhome! Good luck!

You'd be able to import that into Canada next year too! Actually, perhaps this year already, depending on the build date !

price drop to $45k aud
want it gone so I can do a dual cab conversion to the 80 series

That thing is AWESOME! I certainly have some envy going. Screw the 80 and pimp that big boy!

Why don't you build your own? Find a suitable bus, front and rear Isuzu NPS300 diffs, leaf springs for the front from a dual cab truck (NPS300) steering box from a T4100 Mazda truck, divorced NP205 spring over front and rear (original rear leafs) some driveshafts a bit of welding and Bob's yer uncle.

Would love to, but I have learned my lesson on building things like that. Thrice the expected time and expense, have to take precious little vacation time away from the family, citations from the neighborhood rules, and a constantly complaining wife.

At this stage of my life, need to buy.

Hi Dave,
I have a 4wd coaster that I am rebuilding, it has dana doffs with the Rockwell trans case but I am missing the steering box. Any ideas as to what would fit best as I have seen in another post you mention hino steering box?
Thanks in advance.
Tony

Hi Tony,
If it is the same model then the steering box from a T4100 mazda truck (or bus maybe) steers it the right way. What box is in it now?

Thanks for the fast responce.
Currently no steering box as it had been removed before I took possession.
In your experience, would the Mazda box line up with the steering wheel shaft?
Will it require the Mazda brackets?
Are the ratios the same as standard giving the same steering?
Thanks again
Tony
