For those of you that like more details here on Mud, i finally have the time to post some pictures and details here.
As far as I can tell from the service records online, I am the second owner of this LX450. The first owner took exceptional care of it. The leather is almost perfect. Just a small crack on the drivers side seat. The engine runs strong with no issues or strange noises. The paint has some scratches, but very little.
I picked it up in Reno, Nevada and drove it home to Colorado. I have also taken a trip to Virginia, up to Indiana and then back to Colorado, pulling a trailer. I had a bluetooth engine scanner hooked up to it and even with pulling the trailer the temperature didn't go over 200.
It has the factory e-lockers. I have tested them out and they work good.
All the switches and electrics work, to include the CD changer.
Here's some of the work I have done to it:
2" TJM Progressive lift with TJM Tiger adjustable shocks and caster correction bushings
TJM front winch bumper with Smittybilt XRC10 10,000 lb winch with synthetic rope. I put in the wires for an in cab remote switch, but haven't run it into the cab yet. Also have Slee's in cab remote switch to utilized with the factory antenna switch.
Bump It Offroad rear bumper with spare tire swingout and an additional arm ready for spare fuel rack, or, etc
The spare tire swing out has a mount for the Hi-Lift but I don't have a lock for it so I keep it in the back.
Bump It Offroad Step Sliders with catalytic converter protection
5 285/75/16 Goodyear Wrangler DuraTracs with less than 3000 miles on them
PFran LED interior and back up lights
CDL switch
7 pin mod
Auto up drivers side window mod
Installed Japanese factory cup holder above the radio
Slee Offroad headlight harness with accessory plugin harness
Slee Offroad windshield washer relocation bracket. The uninstalled second battery tray is included with the J bolts.
I have flushed the coolant and put in Toyota red coolant; also installed a new Toyota thermostat.
I changed the transfer case and differential fluids, as well as the transmission and engine oil.
I replaced the antenna.
I also have an Old Man Emu steering stabilizer that I haven't installed yet. I will throw in the TJM Hi-Lift jack. The Lexus has the third row seats, and factory mat for the rear, as well as the original mobile phone and first aid kit it came with from the factory
There is a slight wobble in the front end when applying the brakes. I think the rotors may be warped. The brakes work good, however.
***Update. Wobble fixed, see my latest post below with the details.***
There is a minor oil leak. It's enough to put a spot or two on my driveway, but not enough to have to add oil often. I rarely need to add oil.
I recently took it in to the Toyota dealer for an inspection and it checked out great except for the oil leak.
I really hate to see this go, but I am down sizing and switching over to a pickup, so this has to go before I can begin to look for a Tundra.
I only had a chance to take it off-road once, and that was just over a fire road. I turned on the CDL and lockers just to make sure they were working good. They all locked up right away.
Feel free to ask any questions or ask for any more pictures. I have quite a few from the build process as well.
I will consider any serious and reasonable offer.
Dan
Here's a before shot for comparison.
