1996 Land Cruiser for $2000

Was I the only one that seen this today on craigslist? It was a really nice looking white cruiser for $2000. There was no phone number so I sent an E-mail and when I got a reply it was a lady telling me the the $2000 covered the shipping and it was her husbands that really liked it and was killed in Iraq 3 months ago. She went on to say that she was with child and needed the money, all I had to do was to send the money to....

It was removed from Craigslist very shortly after I got the E-mail reply. I was working in the yard all day and figured I would check because I thought everyone would jump on that. I guess I was the only sucker...

Last add I posted on cl, I rec'd an email from some gal who wanted to know if I was one of her HS sweethearts, and if I was interested in some uninhibited fun with no attachments....

CL Scams (actually online scams in general)

Well, at least she didn't try to convince you that she was the nephew of a local dictator who recently died leaving 35 MILLON DOLLRS IN BAANK ACCOUNT IN NIGERIA. God, I've gotten so tired of that scam in emails.

If it seems to good to be true.......usually is on CL.
