Potential

Could this be converted to a 4x4????:hhmm: If so I have a BJ60 that I could part with......PM for details

6.5 is not a cummins (no G ) it is a GM diesel V8

"6.5 is not a cummins (no G ) it is a GM diesel V8"
Well on the truck/van it says G/30 and cummings 6.5L I would only guess that those are correct markings as I'm not a GM Diesel Box truck Enthusiast.... however if you know where the markings are that say otherwise please inform me so I can take a picture and look... I'm in Va Beach Va for all those who wish to take a peek at this excellent rendition of a work truck

work Van, you meant to say "VAN", yes?

and what's with the leak box underneath the engine?

This is a picture of the van when it was on base (military vehicle) There are no known leaks currently runs strong and hard.... Work van / Box truck / Pizza delivery vehicle/ really does not matter what you call it turn it into scrap for all I care? How ever you can call it paid for is fine with me. I will take a few more pic and up load them for those who would like to see more let me know...

Cummins did not make a 6.5 diesel, A 6.7 yes, Go inside the van take off the dog house that covers the engine, If the engine is a v-8 style it is a gm 6.5 diesel if it is a straight 6 then it is a cummins.

I know of one chevy van that had the cummins 5.9 conversion done to it,the van had the front crossmember cut out and reworked so the engine would fit.

A cummins is a very different engine than a gm. But if it is a cummins take a bunch of pics of the install.

First: the shots are clearly auction, w/ .mil deuces in the background. From an unknown seller w/24 posts, I feel caution is clearly required. More/better pix will establish that the seller has access to the vehicle. Location is required, per Mudbay rules.

Second: wtf are you doing cluttering up another sellers thread? do you not get the irony that by challenging our legitimate questions, you might have cost him a sale?

Third: my buddy just dropped 20k on a used dog-show van. While I can keep using my LC to travel the SW showing and hoping show-shots might pay for fuel, this vehicle could've been a better solution for me traveling 1k/mo w/my dogs. Thanks in part to you, I am now far from interested in it.

Fourth [STRIKE](to break my own guidelines): [/STRIKE] check yr chat thread.

I've had the vehicle almost 3 months and have put on about 850 miles or so on it as explained I've replaced the Battery, starter, and solenoid all with brand new... Air blows ice cold....I thought someone might be interested in having a rolling toolshop or somthing (camper, worktruck or everyday hauler) make me an offer I am interested in trades My wife thinks this vehicle is too ugly to have in our driveway LOL For those who have legitimate concerns or questions you can reach me at 757-575-9062 Gus for those who hide behind there computers and are afraid of human contact pm me and I will send additional shots to your email....

You sound rather intelligent so I will not try to insult you however I'm sure that if you'd really like to find out more about this vehicle you would have either pm'd me or called me or even emailed me by now! I appreciate the bump however. (planes, trains, and even automobiles reach Virginia ) And shipping to anywhere in the US is still available for most items of course for a fee... For a dog carrying vehicle this may be the perfect vehicle for you or a friend... the floor can be set up to drain directly outside. (for grooming your dog or whatever)
For anything else this vehicle is rather cool i just read where it has a front dampining system or something for the front end... i will try to read more about it for those that are interested...
Still at the same # for those who wish to find out more...757-575-9062 Gus
