I have a 99% complete toyota pickup in Northern Florida with 250K on the engine, newer head >35K on it. Has new WP, WP housing, Timing chain. I believe the oil pump failed, stopped allowing pressure to tensioner and allowed the chain to jump a tooth and caused internal valve intereference, has that insane sewing-machine rattle. Step-father drove it without realization due to being ill-mechanically inclined. Fuel injection can be removed and everything else, would like to keep it a rolling chassis so everything else is up for grabs. Ran beautifully before this. Vehicle has no rust, but is dented to hell.
