I hate to admit it, but I am selling my 1994 80 LC due to moving
. I have put a ton of money, time and love into getting this rig into it's current condition. I have spent almost $16,000 on her but know that I can't get it all back...it's just part of what we do.
Following is the desciption of build and then the details of it:
1994
Green with Grey interior
Factory Lockers (center diff and FF/RR)
3" Lift
2" Metaltech front spacers with swaybar blocks
305/70/16 Mickey Thompson MTZ tires
ARB Front Bumper
HID Lights in bumper
9500 lb. winch
Custom built rear bumper with Jerry Can and Spare Tire Carrier (bumper is modeled after Slee rear bumper, and spare tire is Dunlop Mud Terrian)
Metal Tech tube sliders with bumpout step
OEM Rims powder coated black
Grey and Black GT Wetskins Covers, first and second row
Third Row seats included
@ 180,000 miles
When purchased, the vehicle had some scratches and the paint was oxidized in several areas. After I got a rock rash on the driver's rear quarter I decided that it was time to fully bring her to her original glory. The entire vehicle was taken down to the metal to have all small door dings and taken out and re-primed, painted and triple clear coated. The rig is beautiful inside and out and capable of going on any expedition as well as looking great anywhere she goes. The rig has not been re-geared.
She runs great and I have driven her across several states a few times in past year with no worries. She flat towed my 40 behind her to the Southern Cruiser Crawl last year from South Louisiana to Arkansas and pulled like a champ.
The bad...
-After my most recent oil change a few months ago (synthetic blend) she drips one or two drops per week on my garage mat.
-The Power Steering has a humm to it, but it has done it since I bought it in Oct/'08 and it sounds kind of cool.
Asking Price - $14,000
Currently Located in Lafayette, LA
I can meet you in Dallas (where I am moving) or Houston
Please let me know if you have any questions
