1993 Hilux 2L-T Engine For Sale!!!

I imported a 1993 Hilux 2L-T engine with 79,000km to convert into my 87 4-Runner. I am moving so the project is a bust. I need to sell the engine soon. I am selling below my cost for $1800.00. It comes complete with all wiring. power steering, clutch, etc. (I seem to have missplaced the flywheel though) I also have 2 4-Runners for sale, but I'll post those in another section. The engine is located in Cultus Lake, BC, Canada. (just outside Chilliwack)

Looking at the pics that looks like an old-school 2l-t (with rocker arms/black valve cover) like 85 - 88 era - I didnt know they made them into the 90's - replaced by 2ltII / 2lte?

Thank you Radd Cruisers for your interest and info. I now know that the guy that imported the engine lied to me and I can't trust anything that I was told. Now that I've blown away almost $2500 for everything:whoops:. The engine is out of a pre-1991 Toyota Hilux Surf (or something of that sort). It has an aluminum valve cover so it's not that old. If nobody wants it for $1800.00 then I may just keep it, drag it with me on my move and put into my 4-runner eventually. Thanks again for the info guys.

my sources and info on the motor made the same conclusion.

1800 is a bit rich for my blood.

i have seen 2lte's with auto tranny's and transfer cases go for 2000.00 shipped.
