I pay to ship the vehicle to Vancouver or anywhere else, and I would go halves with the new owner with the duties/cutoms clearance, as my consignments are always insured. Any internal road freight would be paid by the new owner. The internal road freight from Vancouver to Alberta was around $600US just to give you an idea. Haven't listed anything on here before, so hopefully all this info is okay, if not let me know. I have a lot more photos so if anyone is interested I can email them to you.

beautiful rig, the more pics here the more looks you are going to get. Good luck.

let me know when you are ready and I will have a look and see what there is available, it is getting really hard to find them still in very good condition. You can go onto trading post.com.au or ebay.au or carsales.com.au an see what they have got, there are lots of different sites in Australia that I have purchased cars from. If you see anything you like, I can arrange to get it shipped out for you, for a small fee of course.

hey thanks, I'll be in touch.

I suppose you could post 3 pics per post and put as many as you like up.......

too bad importing into USA is impossible

I don't mean to muddy this thread up, but I don't imagine it will hurt it. What I'm wondering is, how does the 25 year rule get triggered? Is it by the VIN? I'm just thinking about my typical interaction with the local DMV when i register a new vehicle, and I'm not sure how they would end up raising an eyebrow. Give 'em the title, insurance, a check, and away we go. Where does the red flag show up?

As far as I know, it gets flagged when customs deals with it on its way into the US. But I may be wrong. There are supposed ways to make it happen, but it is part of the "gray" market. And anyone who buys something and tries to import it into the US then takes that chance of it being impounded and then crushed. Not a chance I would be willing to take.

I guess another option is to move to Canada (but not Quebec). Every province in Canada but Quebec lets us import vehicles that are at least 15 years old.

I guess all of North America just basically got screwed out of all the best vehicles and definately the best engines (all the diesels).
