I have a 1992 HZJ73 for sale with oem ac , this one has about 220k miles on it which is higher then the ones I usually bring but because of the rarity of lhd HZJ73’s with ac I bought it anyways. I bought this one in 2015 and stored it in Europe untill it’s 25th Birthday and then imported it, clean TX title in my name. I have done some rust repair on the rear quarter panels and installed a new fiberglass windshield frame that will never rust again, rust has been cut out and replaced with new sheet metal and the whole cruiser is repainted, unfortunately I am not a very patient man so some of the finishing details on the bodywork could have been done nicer.Interior is pretty clean and complete minus the rear seat as this one never had a rear seat installed ever because of Euro regulations, I have rear seats available if the new owner wants to install one.I installed a new radio/cd with Bluetooth in it.
Even with the higher miles it is mechanically in very good condition no blow by or other symptoms of any wear, the ac compressor is missing the belt so I assume the system needs some maintenance I have not done anything on the ac, heater works fine which is way more important now
It has a Terrain Tamer lift kit and it sits now on 35” BFG KM2 tires with about 80% tread left
2 new batteries have been installed and all filters and engine oil has been replaced.
I need ####### for it which is a lot for a 25 year old cruiser but it is a lhd HZJ73 with oem ac, this is the second one I import with ac out of the 20 or so I already brought over, I got about a dozen more HZJ73’s waiting in Europe and the only other one with ac that I have is a 1996 so that will come in 3 years......or sold in Europe before it turns 25 because prices there are going up fast !
This is not a new car nor a “investment grade restauration” just a damn good cruiser to cruise around town in and go explore the backroads.
