SOR DIESEL...THIS IS AN 1991 HDJ80, LHD DIESEL Landcruiser. Apx 116,000 miles (188,000)

I bought the truck May, 2008 and did more - INJECTOR PUMP REBUILD (one month ago), POWER STEERING FLUID RESEVUER/HOSES, Bumper, front corner light, grill, hood lifts, frt. pads and rotors, cig lighter, antenna, rear seat belt receivers, rear foot plates, passenger elec. mirror, oil/filter change, fuel filter and water sensor gasket, new e-brake handle, HDJ repair manual.
EST. 15,000 mi. since ALL above work.
YES, THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN POSTED A FEW TIMES - NOW I HAVE NECESSARY PROOF OF WHAT I'M SELLING!
THIS IS A 1-HDT ENGINE (DIESEL) from SOR, Automatic, 4x4 with front locking hubs and onboard ARB compressor/lock switches (see photos). It is a rare import from S. America.
In GREAT working order...Currently Titled & Registered in Florida where I was going to take it (sec. residence) but the car is in CA, parked. I could not register in CA.

Unique to N. America, this TLC has front lights and features as those from Australia...two tanks with onboard switch and gauges...altimeter guage. There was an after market oil pressure gauge installed as indicated above. The paint job shows it's age and the roof is pretty worn...the body shows it's normal wear and tear. There's a dent in the rear right corner (below light) and the front bumper and lower panel was pushed in at one point, but has been adjusted and near perfect.

Radio, A/C & Heater need repair: 2007 receipt indicates that heater was disconnected and the A/C needs freon recharge but I havent had it diagnosed since I bought it. Air blows , but not hot or cold. Lastly, there seems to be a fuse/electrical issue with the radio and clock. This surfaced after i fixed the cig lighter so i could charge my cell phone. I'm not a mechanic.

Crankshaft.........

I found this pic of the carnage from the original engine.........

The story was, the unit drove in fine to a local dealer in Corpus for a P/S problem and was pushed out with a bad knock in the lower block area......

Yeah, I'd guess that might cause a little engine noise!

;)

BTW, this truck just sold on ebay for $10,100, not a bad deal really.
