PappaSmurf how much you want to offer for the drivetrain, bidding war :) JK Stevo's got it locked up. I think I'm getting another one though so I'll give you a shout if I do.

I would be interested in rear heater motor and switch if works.

dome light

Hey, I'm not sure if you are trying to keep it all original parts or whatnot, but you should be able to pick up a replacement dome light at napa for like 59 cents.

New Owner

Just to let everyone know I now own the truck and am still willing to part out some of it. For the time being I am going to keep it as a rolling chassis, and will be keeping:the axles (and all their components), driveshafts, swaybars, steering system, leaf springs. Things still available are engine (missing some components), body, bumpers, and dash. There is probably more but I can't think of it right now at work. Feel free to PM me to ask for available parts.

Please do. I want it for my FJ40 project. Let me do some research and I'll get you an offer soon ... would you mind telling me what you got for the other set? Will this new set be in comparable condition?

I don't think I need the rear axle because I am going to put a shortened Dana 60 back there and save some cash on the $600 NV4500/LC Transfer case adapter by just going with an NP235 or something like that. Although I do like having the pumpkin to the side and out of the way a little, I'm trying to get better mileage by avoiding going through the transfer case in 2H. The 235 (correct me if I'm wrong) is just a straight shot to the drive shaft from the transmission when in 2H and only uses the gears when you engage the front axle in high or low range. (Seriously, let me know if that sounds right to you.)

Thanks,
Don

hey sounds like a great project. I'm a newb so I'm not the guy to ask but I am keeping the new one. Got it for $650 dropped some transmission fluid in it and it runs like a charm :)

Good luck with the project though, if I stumble across any of those parts i'll let you know.

Do you have a 3F-E dizzy ?
