I’m selling my '89 74-series, which I have owned for the past 3 years. It was imported by Outback Imports, and has been a problem-free daily driver since I purchased it. The body and interior are both in excellent condition (no rust, and nominal interior wear), and there are no mechanical problems with this vehicle at all. The characteristics of the vehicle are:

13BT (3.4 L) turbo diesel (161 000 km / approximately 100 000 miles)
5-speed manual
Air conditioning
PW, PDL, PM
Full-floating LSD
PTO Winch
Removable hardtop

I have added the following modifications:

Terrain Tamer Suspension (2” lift)
33x12.5 STL Trxus MTs on 15x8 ProComp 51Series steel wheels (includes spare)
2.5” custom exhaust (completely welded, and a piece of art) with a Stainless Magnaflow muffler
Safari Snorkel
Paint - all black (which is much more aesthetically pleasing than the original stripe kit and two-tone)

Everything works on this truck. It has been “waxoiled”, and it has been rust checked annually. This truck has not been winter driven. There is about 70% remaining on the Trxus MTs.

The truck is located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, and I am asking $13 900 (negotiable). You can contact me via email at adsum30@hotmail.com.

a couple of things that I forgot

Thanks to everyone who has sent me messages regarding my 74. I have noticed that I have repeated a couple of things in my emails that maybe I should post here. I have been asked a number of times for pictures of the interior of the truck. Therefore, I have attached a couple below. Also, I will be including the original wheels (alloy 15x7) and tires (31x10.5 Geolanders) with the truck. As well, I will be including a set of rust-free rear doors, which I originally intended to modify as a tailgate when I took the top off. There will be also service manuals and a number of other small items included.

The truck is wired for 12 volt trailer lights and electric trailer brakes. The truck is ready to go, and does not require anything. It has been meticulously maintained, and has passed its annual inspection without any problems at all. It is quite comfortable to drive, and the 13BT engine moves this truck much better than you would expect (even with the 33s).

Anyway, this should provide a little more information … please, do not hesitate to drop me a line if you have any other questions.
