There are a limited number of 70 Series already in the States and it is not impossible to find one with the right budget.

Don't risk money you can't afford to lose. Its a gamble especially if your going against the import laws.
Find one thats 25 or wait until one is 25 then do it.
Or find one already in the states.

Some 70 Series ( mostly Canadian BJ 70's) are starting to show up on Ebay Motors and the "good" ones are commanding big money. If you go this route look carefully at the wheel wells, door bottoms, rear window frames etc. ( notorious rust areas) and be scared, very scared of new paint jobs.

I have been look on e bay anf on here andi know it has to be 25 years old.Any time you but something that old there will likely be rust.And i need to sell my 97 80 to have a littil more money.so i am in no hurry.Thanks for all the advice it can always come in handy.
