1989 4runner HELP!
OK.... I bought my nephew this 4runner from a guy in Cullman a couple days ago. I bought the truck with the understanding that it needed the rear main sill replaced eventually and an exhaust manifold replaced. When I got to Cullman the "dripping oil occationally" was more like "often"... I bought it anyways because my nephew b'day was the next day. I've sinced showed him the truck but did not turn it over to him because of the leak. I took it to a mechanic to have the sill replaced and he told me that there are exhaust bolts broken off into the head! I don't have the time, patience, mechanical ability and I am not willing to drop that kind of money into this. Maybe you are. Make no mistake, I drove the truck from Cullman to Montgomery w/ no incident (no overheating, smells, noises, etc.) I averaged 70mph.

This is a cool truck. 22RE w/ automatic. Removable top, factory roll bar, 2 sets of wheels and tires, hand fabbed half doors (cool), NO RUST and STRAIGHT BODY, hand fabbed front and rear tubed bumpers, 7,500 Champion winch (needs controller)...

Any interest in a straight up trade (something more practical)? A second generation 4runner perhaps... A good running LC... Toyota 4x4 pick up..... Try me (A DAILY DRIVER). I leave back for Iraq on Friday... so act fast. Someone bail me out here! Call your buddies and foward these pics! Come test drive ANYTIME. :o706 513 8012.
