Its a 88 245 DL automatic. It runs good, has around 300k miles(original odometer stopped at around 260k, the replacement had 188k when instilled and it now has around 210k).
Good:
-Working AC, working heat. Quite fan. New compressor, dryer, and expansion valve.
-Alternator replaced over the summer
-Battery replaced last month
-good brakes(pads within the last year)
-steers good and its tight
-Everything works minus the rear wiper(no idea why)
Bad:
-Some misaligned trim pieces on the outside, some broken plastic inside(typical 240 as you know)
-A few rust bubbles on the drivers fender
-2 small rust holes under the drivers seat
-Paint fair at best, but no clear coat peeling ect.
-Front seats are cloth and rear is vinyl
-cracked dash
-right rear tail light missing reverse cover.
Good cheap transportation. Very reliable, my father has driven it back and forth four times to new york in the past 3 months with no mechanical issues.
Reason for selling? My father is a insurance adjuster and drives all over the country and the old girl is just to old these days. He bought a 96 850R wagon today with only 97k miles.
