Parting an FJ62 that WAS running and driving. Engine has been sold so now it's a roller. Everything on the rig worked before I pulled the powerplant. I am only listing the major things. There are more parts, but I don't want to list every little nut and bolt.
Front/rear axles - $300 each, complete from end to end, includes 3rd.
Glass is good everywhere (Can't really ship this stuff, so you pick out and up)
4 speed transmission out of an '82 BJ - $200
Manual shift transfer case - $200
4 factory chrome wheels - $250
Rest of the parts I will price as they are requested. I try to base prices relative to what they are listed on other ads, but if you think my prices are too high please make an offer. I won't be offended, just don't be offended if I say no to a dollar for everything.
The body has lots of rust in almost every panel
The frame is junk
The front was put into a ditch and is more wrinkled than Bob Barker
Most of the trim pieces are damaged or are missing
The dash and all associated parts are spoken for.
I was going to scrap this rig after I pulled the engine, but have received enough interest to justify keeping it until people stop requesting things on a regular basis.
Shipping is on your dime and will be actual cost (including materials, etc.)
I can take pictures of things if you need specific information or photos for fit verification.
Please don't waste my time. I do not know if my parts are interchangeable with a 1957 VW, or how to convince your wife that buying this stuff is a good idea (I haven't talked to your wife in a while), and I don't know how many horsepower the wiper motor is rated for. I can only tell you where they came from and what kind of condition it is in.
