1988 4runner for sale. Pics. NY $2000
The truck has a freshly rebuilt 22re. New cam, timing kit, gasket kit, valves, oil pump. Resurfaced head. Runs great, only been driven down the road and back since rebuild. Body is in excellent shape. I painted it with Interlux Brightside Flag Blue (link with pics) I did not paint the drivers side front fender, in hopes to find another one. This fender has a dent and small rust spot. This is the only rust spot on the truck. The underside of this truck is in excellent shape. Frame very solid, minimal surface rust. Shocks were replaced about 20k ago with Rancho 5000. Tie Rods, idler arm, pitman arm done at same time. Aisin manual hubs. Truck was brought from NC last year, so has not seen a NY winter. 5 speed manual shifts great, new gear oil with engine rebuild. Before engine rebuild, truck had 249k on body, chassis. I also redid the interior, put in new carpeting, and cd/mp3 player, but did not install speakers. More info of buildup/background.
Truck also has new Wabfab clutch and clutch master cylinder put in during engine rebuild. Rear gate, window works well.
**Truck is currently not registered or inspected. I just got it in April, and have yet to put it on the road. I do have clean NY title
Brakes work, but squeek. Starter engages when it wants to, is either going bad and needs to be replaced, or could be just a connection. I have not looked into either of these, as I am getting ready to move.
