Hi, here are the details.

1987 HJ60, $10,000 is what I feel it is worth. My father bought it new and sold it to me 3yrs ago. 520,000 on the body, Manual trans. A new short block engine replace/rebuild was put in at 454,000KM. It has had body work done twice, not touch up but both full dismantals and complete repaint. You will see in the pics the rust is starting to come back and if you know cruisers this is a fact of life. The black paint on the bottom sides is a chip resistant covering and is supposed to help with the rusting problem, it was put on at the last repaint a few years ago, I think it has worked to slow the rusting down. Original tranny and trans-case no problems or slipping that I have noticed. Injectors will need to be done sometime in the next little while and it would not surprise me if the birfeild joints might need attention in the next year or two, no play on either front wheel currently. Other then that I feel very confident in driving the truck anywhere as it has been well taken care of. Winch, 3"lift (old man emu), new tires nokian all season last fall. I am only selling the truck because I have RHD HDJ81 on order from Japan, I would keep both if I could. Let me know if can provide any more info,

I could be wrong, but with it being a Canadian-spec rig, you should not have that difficult of a time getting it registered in the US (Not sure about CA though!)

G'luck with the sale/purchase!

No problems importing this to the USA, same as any other canadian spec vehicle. It also comes with a full 17 digit vin # as well. US Buyers, take note; this is a legally importable vehicle!

What make you think "the injectors need to be done" ??

The injectors have not been done since the new engine was put in. That is about 70,000 km on it and my experience with these engines is that the injector job could come due somewhere in there. Just adjusted the valves and I am going to check/replace the glow plugs as well. I have put a manual glow plug switch (wilson switch) on the truck. It starts great but I feel it could start better, and once warmed up it runs excellent. I am in BC Canada and have been putting it to the cold start test. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Just replaced a glow plug, (the top had broke off) starts excellent now. What I thought might be a needed injector job turned out to be a glow plug problem. I have the truck stored under a cover for the winter, nice and dry. Still for sale

I want it really bad, but that is one hell of a price.
