NVIS birthdate in Canada. Canadian-spec., (left-hand drive, domestic to us in North-America). The 4-litre, 6-cylinder diesel engine was never sold in the US, and only for 2 years in Canada (1986, 1987). Few were sold and many of them rotted. This one comes from BC, moved to Ontario (rust-proofed annually) a few years ago, and in March 2008, I brought it to Quebec.

Approximately 229,000 miles (389,000 kilometers). 5-speed standard shift. Original floor mats. Most everything is original, except for parts replaced during maintenance, and always with Toyota parts.

In 2008 and 2009, I had all body rust repaired. I sanded and welded the frame in the infamous weak spot just in front of the rear wheels. I drive it regularly (never with a heavy load). It has done no towing since I have had it, but it has the tow ball and wiring.

The car is 24 volt, with 2 batteries new about a year ago. Oil and grease done regularly. The entire suspension was verified, tested, and repaired as required (adjustments and 2 new shocks).

Under the hood, I installed a 24-to-12 volt converter that powers the radio and three lighter sockets (the original lighted socket and two new ones, mounted into the dash).

Additional photos available if anyone is seriously interested.

I had no intention of ever selling this truck, and what I have done to it has been for my own use and enjoyment. Recent health problems have changed the picture.

The 31" Yokohama Geolandars may have a thousand miles on them. The truck has never been drive off road. I have the original bill of sale to the first owner, who sold it to me in 2008.

For sale separately, after the truck sells, I have 24-volt lamps, manuals, assorted parts, and accessories (24-volt commercial battery charger, sells for $600.).

I have $20,000 CAD in the vehicle. I will consider a serious offer above mid-teens.

Okay, I will take some photos of the undercarriage. Good idea. For export to US, I think that something is easier at 25 years. People do take them from Canada to US. I don't know the paper work in that direction, except the stories I have read of folks who have done it.

If it's a Canadian-spec rig, I believe it's pretty simple to get it across the border and title/register it in the US, especially with a help of a registered importer...
