I have for sale a 2H engine, WITH the H55F transmission and transfer case. These transmission can be used behind a 2F etc. with a bellhousing from a manual transmission that fits the gasoline engine.
This is from a Canadian spec. 1987 vintage 24V HJ60.
The odometer has been removed, so I do not have the exact mileage, but I seem to remember it being in the 350,000 to 385,000 km range. 2013 05 23 - just found the odometer assy. 375,487.6 Kms
The vehicle was dismantled due to severe rust.
Compression tested before it was parked (a few years ago now):
1. 420
2. 480
3. 460
4. 460
5. 400
6. 400
Included with sale:
- Starter
- Alternator (internal reg.)
- PS Pump
- Fan
- H55F transmission and related parts
- Split transfer case which is attached to the transmission.
- This engine does not have an EDIC motor on it, but I should have a 24V or maybe even a 12V EDIC that I can include (I can not guarantee that I have these).
- I do not have an EDIC control box.
- it does not have A/C brackets or A/C parts
Note that higher mileage 2H engines often have problems with ring land degradation of the pistons and this can cause problems with oil consumption and smoking.
I can not recall if this engine smoked, but I think it was doing okay. However, I would recommend freshening this up with a basic engine rebuild kit and a valve job, and perhaps some new rockers.
The transmission and transfer case may need rebuilding. The transmission shifted fine and sounded okay. I'm quite sure the transfer case will need a rebuild kit thrown at it.

I would rather not ship this engine, however, I will strap it to a pallet for shipping for a nominal fee.
If you want it shipped to your location, you are responsible for all shipping costs and making arrangements for shipping.
We do not have a forklift to load this onto a truck.
