This Pickup is one of the IDI diesels. It is a 4 speed manual transmission with a very low first gear. It does not have a turbo. From my experience this thing gets FANTASTIC fuel mileage. This model didn't come with turbo and this one doesn't have an after-market one. It has dents here and there and was actually "built" from the best parts of several ford pickups with 1984-1986 vintages in the late 90s-early 2000s, the engine was rebuilt then.
We have had no problems with it except the glow-plug relay going out so the last few times I have used it a small puff and ether and it roars to life. I drive it once every month or less. It always starts and runs great. I would not hesitate to get in this thing and drive it anywhere. It is not a beauty queen, it is a true workhorse. My dad used it on the farm before he got out of cattle. He gave it to me and I use it for hauling building materials and trash from my remodel. I am done with the big remodeling projects and have too many cars so it winds up parked out on the street and the Peoples Republic of Corvallis keeps coming by and giving me tickets.
It has 4 wheel drive with locking hubs, the fold up bench seat in the back, Dual tanks, manual windows, decent tires, full size spare, long bed, block heater...
