Essentially, everything is new or has been replaced.
It has a dent on the driver side fender.
The truck is registered and recently inspected and is street legal.

The bad:
The beast was built in late 2011 and was sold to another local. It was driven partially into a lake but the motor did not go under and they continued running it until it was winched out. As a precaution the fluids in the engine, radiator, tranny, transfer case and diffs were replaced. Previous owner started having starting issues so vehicle sat for several months until I obtained it late last year. I had it towed to a shop in Keller and got it back to running condition. It runs great and I have been driving it around the past couple of months. There is still one issue that we have not been able to resolve. Sometimes when you turn it off it will not start again until it sits for 45 mins or so. Once you restart it runs like a champ.

We are going to try a couple of more things while it is up for sale and I will update the results. Price will be increased accordingly. Being sold as-is, but there are no other know problems.

I am selling to fund my new M416 trailer/RTT project.

I will add new pics soon.

In order to be completely honest and upfront I am including a pic of the truck when it slid into the water. Look at the bottom left hand corner and you can see how close it was to the shore.

The 22re was swapped for the 3rz? Any under the hood photos? Did it sit for months with water in it or we're the fluids changed promptly after the lake incident? What all was involved with wiring in the 3rz?

Correct. It now has the 3rz. I will get some more pics this weekend. Fluids changed promptly. The 3rz was removed from a '99 Tacoma Pre-Runner. The wiring harness, ECU and gauge cluster was used as well.

What is so confusing is that if you crank it again before letting it sit for more than 5 minutes after turning it off it starts right up. This is fine if you are just putting in some gas or accidentally stall it on the trail.

Tonight I took it for a spin and went back out after 45 minutes and it fired right up.

Nice rig. Seems like a fair price.

Not sure if you have done this but check the two wires going into distributor, or pickup stator. My 85 did this, started right up if cold and once it ran for a bit the wires would touch just enough to cause truck not to start. I replaced every electrical part and it was a cheap junk yard find that fixed it. I tested by starting truck and then moved those wires which made truck stumble and die. Once replaced all good. Hope that helps if you haven't checked already.

Thanx for reply. Motor is now a '99 fuel injected 3rzfe.
