hello all

i'd really appreciate your help selling this truck. i need to sell this thing to fund my graduate studies so please tell everyone you know who might be interested.

here's are the details:

it's an 1985 toyota 4WD that has been completely restored. i took the truck off the rails and prepped and resprayed the frame with fresh coats of primer and finished in black. the underside of the cab has also been totally refinished, getting the same treatment as the frame but adding a good layer of undercoating to sensitive areas. on the top side the truck was completely stripped, sanded and prepped for fresh paint (charcoal gray). this was not an earl scheib paint job, it was professionally done and it was pricey. because everything was removed it (windshield, rubber, wiring, etc) basically looks like factory paint, even the engine bay was sanded and sprayed.

the interior was sanded and prepped for the application of a rubberized/epoxy finish. i wanted something that would let me skip interior carpeting while providing a fair amount of sound deadening. i found a rustoleum product (at $140 a gallon) that works and looks great. it's a gray color that matches the exterior.

the bed was also stripped and resprayed with fresh primer. it's set up for spray-on bedlining or a traditional liner. i also had a camper shell painted to match (it looks like a 4runner shell).

basically it's a brand new truck, the bodywork is super straight and the paint is quality stuff (base coat/clear coat). the mechanical stuff is easier to list than explain so here it goes:

*2RZ motor (one with about 50K miles). engine mounts were relocated.
*2RZ stainless steel header
*W56 transmission, fresh rebuild by cal mini trucks, still under warranty.
*brand new clutch
*brand new V6 radiator
*fresh rebuilds on front and rear axles
*brand new seats off a 2004 honda civic

the truck is now on ebay
