This Canadian diesel version Landcruiser has been fully restored. It has about 6,000 miles on the restoration. It runs great. Here is a list of all things done to and installed on the vehicle. If you're looking for a short wheelbase 4X4 that will go about anywhere, this is it. More pics are available upon request. Most parts purchased from Dan at 4 Wheel Auto in Canada. Top speed is about 75 mph. Underbody completely steam cleaned, rust removed/repaired and POR 15 rust inhibitor process installed (apply degrease - apply marine clean - apply POR 15)
New Old Man Emu (OME) suspension system, springs, shocks, bushings, steering dampener, 4 degree castor shims
All new brakes. Rotors, drums, pads, new brake backing plates (POR 15'ed), new linkages and proportioning valve
Interior completely removed during restoration. Dynamat Extreme put on entire floor surface for sound dampening. New felt and new BJ70 carpet from Queensland carpet in Australia installed. Inside rear panel and rear doors sprayed with Second Skin sound dampening too.
Diamond plate aluminum panels installed in rear and rear doors. Diamond plate has Dynamat Extreme on back for more sound reduction.
Corbeau GTS II seats installed in front. Rear bench seat recovered to match along with the front door panels too.
New door and window rubber all around
Pioneer double DIN stereo with iPod/iPhone connection and bluetooth
Dash and center console painted to match outside vehicle color (dark blue metallic)
Westach double gauges installed 1- EGT and boost, 2 - water temp and oil pressure
3B Engine verified by expert diesel mechanic. New toyota OEM head with valves, bushings, springs, toyota OEM headgasket, water pump and pulleys
Injector pop-off pressure verified and adjusted to max pressure
13BT turbocharger kit installed along with 2.5' custom exhaust system with vibration dampener at exhaust manifold
2 new gel high output batteries installed along with new welder quality battery cables
All metal parts in engine compartment cleaned and POR 15'ed
Vehicle primed and painted with dark blue metallic paint and clear coated
Dick Cepek wheels and Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ tires installed
Warn 9500 winch installed on a skid with connections on front and rear of vehicle to allow moving winch from front to back hitch positions. Remote included.
Aluminum rack installed on roof with a Hi-Lift jack for easy accessibility
4 Hella high output lights installed on front bumper, 2 on each switch
Running boards installed and painted with Durabak non-skid
Front and rear bumpers painted with Durabak non-skid
Custom made diamond plate mudflaps
4.11 gearing installed along with mechanical lockers
new front heater coil and heating system overhaul. works perfectly.
FJ60 pressurized hood lifters installed as well as Dynamat Hood sound dampening system. New starter.
