Titled, Registered, and Insured to me in Pennsylvania with current Safety Inspection until October 2011.
Since it is currently titled and registered in the US it can be easily registestered in any other state in the US.
I had this car imported from New Zealand last winter.
The odometer reads app.213,751 km or approximately. 132,525 miles. I drive it often so a couple hundred more miles are likely to be on it at the time of sale.
I would consider a trade for a Toyota Truck or FJ Cruiser, but please don’t propose any trades if you want too much money for them.
Don’t underestimate the effort, time and cost that it will take to get a car imported to the US, through US Customs, shipped from US Customs, then insured, titled and inspected in the US.
The BJ70 Land Cruiser LX is the next generation to the Land Cruiser BJ40, FJ40 & FJ42. The BJ70 comes equipped with the 4 Cylinder. (3.4L) 3B diesel engine, 4 Wheel Drive, 5 Speed Transmission, Power Steering, Power Front Disc/ Rear Drum Brakes and this car also has AIR CONDITION, Power Windows, Suspension Front Seats, Factory PTO Front Winch, and Headlight Washers. The car runs great, the four wheel drive works properly and is in excellent overall mechanical condition. After receiving the car I had the Air Condition charged, which worked properly and blew cold air for about a month and it is again blowing warm air. The power window on the passenger door does not work. Other than this the car runs exceptionally well and everything else works properly.
The car comes with an Owners Manual, Parts Manual and a Factory Toyota Service Manuals, Original Jack and Tool Kit (see the pictures). Parts are available through U.S. sources such as: CruiserParts.net, CoolCruisers.com, and your local Toyota Service Center. The 3B Toyota diesel engine was widely used by Toyota in numerous other Toyota vehicles and drive train parts are easily accessible.
The car has been repainted in its original colors, #147 Silver and # 8B4 Blue. I would classify the paint job as an 8 out of 10 because of some small imperfections in the paint job.
