Can anyone provide me with the glow plug part number for my 2H diesel? It is a 1985 Cruiser however I was told that the part number changed midway through 1985.
Thanks......1978Hj45

Are there Nippon denso GP's in it now or any for that matter? There should be part numbers right on them....if there are you should be able to obtain whatever part# they were updated too and also cross reference them.

If you are not sure which GP's to put in. There are quite a few different voltage options so.......its not just a matter of a production date. It would be best to run your vin and find out what its supposed to have in it.

Stupid Question #1: Can you read the glow plug part number without actually removing the plug?
Thanks.....1978HJ45

BTW...no question is stupid.

It would be extremely difficult to read the part number while they are installed. The lettering is really small. It could be done but, it would probably take longer. Than if you actually removed one from the head.

I have done it so many times I think i could do it blind folded. Just hand me 10mm shallow socket, 12mm deep socket and I could have all them out in under 2mins. lol

Thanks for the information. I will remove one glow plug in the morning and take a look.
