1985 Fj60 For Sale Austin, Texas
I'm broke so I'm selling my cruiser. Don't want to, oh well. I'm pasting the ad copy from the craigslist ad which is worded for folks that aren't necessarily familiar with 60's. I'm asking 6000 OBO and the truck is located in Austin, Texas. A couple of things not mentioned in the ad that may be of interest to folks here. I have all the original factory owners manuals from when the truck was purchased new. Bill of sale all that stuff. I'd like to see it go to someone who will take care of the truck and use it. Not the guy who asked me if it would be a good car for his 16 year old daughter

New catalytic converter
New Greasable Shackles & Poly shackle bushings - Specter off road
New Fuel Sending Unit
New Battery
New clutch slave cylinder
Just filled tranny with redline MTL.
Just passed smog, registration and inspection are good for a year.
It doesn't have a radio installed but I have a Kenwood CD player I never got around to installing.
Lots of other work.
The truck also has a Ferry overdrive which I've never used. Don't know if it works, I was always afraid it would break and I couldn't get parts for it. The tranny shifts great though.
I purchased this truck at an auction about 3 years ago. It was running and driving and had minor sheet metal damage. It does have a rebuilt salvage title. I have pictures of the truck in before and after condition so that you can see it had minor damage. In fact I still can't figure out why it was at the auction in the first place.
I have put a lot of time and money into the truck over the last 3 years. I don't want to sell it but I can't afford to keep it at this point. It has really low mileage for an FJ60 and the interior is in really good condition.

It still has a few things that need to be fixed like any 20 year old car. I have more pics of the truck that I can email.
