That's one of my favorite colors on the 60 and it's in Utah.

Looks like he has another 60 on the driver way, as well as an 80 on the curb.... I wonder if he is on Mud or someone here knows him and about the truck...

He told me he would take $3900 for it (Not just to me, but anyone interested, that is.)

I've told him that I would post the info. so here's what I've asked and he's told me:

-How many owners?
I don't know

-How long have you owned it?
two years

-How's the maintenance history?
didn't drive it much but I have changed oil every 3000 miles and it does have new gaskets and spark plugs

-Do you happen to have pics of the vehicle/rust spots before they were taken care of (and who did the work)? the work was done by a very good body guy, he welded steel sheets where needed and applied some (small) bondo, it was tape off and painted with original 1985 Toyota paint color

-You say "new body". Does it mean that it's been painted (which you state that it has been) or did you get a body from another 60 and put it on the current frame?
no, I didn't get a body from another cruiser

-What kind of mgp do you get in-town and on freeway?
not sure, never checked

-I'm just curious, but do you restore cruisers for fun (as a hobby) or ??? I see that there's another 60 on the driveway and an 80 on the curb.
I just love land cruisers, yes do I own a few

-Who was the guy who did your body work... is he just an individual or does he work for a shop? If so, would you mind telling me the name of it so I can ask around and get a feedback on his shop/reputation.
The Individual is a local guy...anyway I can show you some pics

-I'm curious to see just how much and where was the bondo applied. If you can shed any more info on that, that would be great.
basically around the rear wheel well area

-And finally, as for the pics, don't feel like you have to make it a top priority or anything. I'm not just kicking tires, but am not in a big hurry either.
The vehicle isn't perfect....if that is what you are looking for this vehicle might not be what you want.... but it is very nice. All areas that were rusted were repaired and treated with POR-15.

I have posted it on KSL.com and have reduced the price for a quick sale (need money) $3995 I would accept $3900

If you are looking for the perfect land cruiser this one might not be it...but it is a nice vehicle for someone who wants a 4x4 to drive this winter.

ANYWAY, I hope I get some additional pictures, but I guess there's always a chance that it might sell before he sends me more pictures.

I guess I'm a bit leery(sp) about the small bondo job, but you don't blame me, do you? Maybe I'll get it and just have Skinner fix it for me or something. :hillbilly:
