SOLD

Good 2F engine from a 1985 FJ60 with 186K on it. Compressions #s from 125-150 dry. No accessories (dizzy, emissions, air cleaner, starter, alternator, ac comp, etc) are included but can be for additional price. The oil pan leaks, but I am including a good one. I also have the tranny/tcase from this which the buyer has an option of purchasing for $550. I am not going to sell that separately until the engine is sold.

Located in Austin. $1200 which includes pallet, straps and dropping it off at a freight terminal, which is a $150 savings.

You doing it? If you need someone hit up Javier, he's the best.

cool. it's easy to do but if you don't have time or a compression tester and ideally a second hand, he is your man. tell him I said hi, been a couple months since i chatted with him

Any way to verify that the seal between the trans/tcase is good? Mine is leaking, so if I'm putting the motor in, I might as well start fresh there too.

No way to tell but I'd highly recommend putting in a new clutch and rear main. It's 100 times easier while it's out. And both are inexpensive parts.

Fair enough. Spoke with Javier today, and it is new motor time. Just have to decide if I want to drop the cash or try to sell/part out my truck and start over.

Complete drivetrain is now sold
