The truck has been used for it's intended purpose since I bought it in 2001. The head was re built two summers ago and it runs solid. Body has some rust but not bad, lower rear quarters as usual, lower tailgate and a few spots here and there, nothing a little time with a simple 110 mig welder won't cure. The frame is solid. Truck needs some work in the way of the common oil leak near the fuel pump area simply requiring some new gaskets and a slight intermittent bearing noise from what I believe to be coming from the throw out bearing after the truck sits for a while. This truck is a steal for someone who has the time, place, tools and know how to do the work themselves.

It has had many part replacements over the years and has never left me sit, engine rebuilt around 200K and had good compression before and after the head was rebuilt the other summer, cylinder walls looked and measured out good. Front and rear axles rebuilt when the 4.11 Sierra Gears and ARB air lockers went in in 2005. There are some extra parts, original carb, smog stuff, new spare oil pan, a 6th brand new in the box 16" Stocton steel wheel, gaskets, bumper lights... etc... at my parent's home in Pa. which the buyer is more than welcome to as well. I will be bringing all of the extra stuff out to Colorado in June after I am home for a visit. The truck has been kept clean both underside and topside, and kept inside and/or under cover most of it's 11 years with me only being used primarily as a weekend getaway toy. I will buy a brand new battery for the new owner as well. Located over Hoosier pass south of Breckenridge just past Alma Colorado in the Valley of the Sun. ($9500) Thanks

Nice rig, good luck with sale. Have friends that live in Jefferson, wish they liked imports and adventuring I'd turn them on to this. Or if I lived closer with more money...

Great looking truck and kitted out pretty good. Thats the way I want to do one up but running a diesel instead of gas. GLWS ..

questions

:steer: The seats were finished by me using the tough duck kits from Specter Off Road. The odo reads around 270k most everything on the truck at some point has been upgraded, replaced, or rebuilt. Engine and axles have all been rebuilt over the years. The frame is solid and the truck has been kept clean on the topside as well as the underside as long as I have owned it. All of the gear on this truck could not be bought new for anywhere near the price I am asking. Thanks :steer:

Fuel tank?

Did you have that fuel tank custom built or is there someone that sells these? Well built rig, GLWS!!!

Fuel Tank

:steer: The fuel tank was from Australia and I think I got it through MAN-A-FREE some years ago for around $1000 shipped. Not sure if you can still get them or not but it is a heavy gage welded steel with interior baffles for keeping the slosh down. I have many times gone well over 525+ miles with roof rack and a good load inside on a single tank. Thanks :)
