1984 4x4 Diesel BJ-60 for sale

Rare Canadian diesel model - runs on Bio-diesel and legally imported to US.

- 4 cylinder 2.9 liter
- 5-speed, 4x4
- 215k miles (these diesels can go to 500k)
- 25 mpg
- body and interior in great condition

It just needs a few things to restore to mint condition - none are immediate concerns except the exhaust leak - this is what I'm aware of that it needs:

- transfer case needs rebuild (within a year or two - $500)
- frame weld (for corrosion) in one spot ($500)
- front spring on drivers side ($100)
- parking break cable ($200)
- exhaust pipe leak ($150)
- rear bumper has some corrosion
- interior in great shape except a few minor cosmetic things
- body and paint looks great except a few very minor corrosion and bondo spots

And, as for the price, I know it seems high, especially in comparison to a similar gas model, but the diesels are expensive and very hard to find with US titles - I paid $10,000 (US) for it with a Canadian title, then had to pay to import it ($650) and did some work on it (windshield, brakes, tune-up) - I'll already be loosing money on it even if I get my asking price. All the less expensive diesels I found when I was shopping were in considerably worse condition, higher mileage and usually with major corrosion issues.
 
Still waiting on the pics (sent you a PM- please send pics to arcteryx at comcast dot net) :), but depending on the condition, it's a fair price. I know what I had to pay and then get some items fixed on my 70 once stateside. in
