Hi. Gathering hardware to mount some late 60's FJ40 long jump seats in rear section of my 1984 HJ47 Troopy Aussie spec...hopefully tomorrow! Some of the bolt holes have some paint and/or years of dried fish oil so they are not easy to test fit. I want to know the correct bolts and not force a size that I THINK might work. Mounting the pair of long jump seats with four lap belts.
Seat belt bolt holes - old bolt removed seems not quite a 7/16 standard seat belt bolt (like US spec FJ40s) or a 12mm. What should I go with?
Jump seat tub 'rib' and floor mount bolt holes- Guessing floor is 8mm x 1.25 pitch (length?) and the tub rib seems smaller, 6mm x 1.0 pitch (length?) maybe?
Could someone confirm these OEM bolt sizes for the Aussie spec model?
Thanks for any input!
