Tired of looking at it. Had plans to tow my FJ 40 with it. But kid #2 is taking what free time I have left. I have driven it probably 150 miles in total since I got it last Feb.
1984 Ford E 350 Short Bus, 2wd, Cargo Van in the front, Thomas Built Bus in the back. Titled as a Cutaway Van. I have clear title.
I bought this from another guy about a year ago
I had the Transmission rebuilt by Dort Transmission in Flint MI. 1200 bucks, I have the paperwork. Has an unlimited mile warrenty until Feb of 2008 I believe.
Has a 351 W block motor. C 6 auto again rebuilt with probably 150 miles on it!. 1 ton Front end, and Either D60 or 70 in the rear. I think, it is a Dually. and has the 8 lug wheels
What I have replaced within the last 6 months:
Starter Solinoid
New Front Rotors
New Front Calipers
New Front Brake pads
New Front Soft Lines
New Front hard lines
New muffler
Have rear axle seals but not put in yet.
Cleaned the frame and underside and undercoated it.
Fresh Oil Change.
Draw Tite Hitch 2" reciever
one new front sway bar link.
All new front end poly bushings.
Runs good for an old bus, Rides like an old bus with 1 ton springs. Stops like a 1 ton bus.
Rear Heater works great, two speeds, Yes the kiddie lights still work.
Has a CD player, 4 new 6x9 speakers and a 12 inch subwoofer, Kenwood CD player, Clarion EQ, and some kind of amp. Pretty loud.
Has carpet in the back, and one seat which folds to a twin size bed.
Perfect for camping, Towing, NASCAR, Tail Gating etc.
Miles, the ODO says 11,XXX I would guess it has rolled at least once.
The inside is still pretty nice.
would trade for a 16 foot car hauler.
