I kept meaning to post this up, but I was in the Reno/Sparks Pick N Pull on Sunday around mid day and there was a 1984 FJ60 that is/was pretty much complete. The axles were untouched including the Aisen hubs. The valve cover was off and there were a few things missing on the motor, but overall there were still a lot of parts if anyone is looking. The rear hatch struts were still good also. It appeared to be fairly rust free and the driver's side rear door had a dent, but otherwise it was in good shape.

Yeah just saw this on their website.. planning on heading out there Monday. Do you remember what color it was? I am looking for a new drivers side doorskin to replace mine. May grab some other miscellaneous items while I am there as well.

That lovely s$%# brown that Toyota used in that era.:hillbilly:

HMMMMMMMMM!!!
Thanks for the heads up!!

Ok well a door is a door and I am hoping to get the ML paint job done next spring/summer. I can live with a brown door for a while as long as it is not rusting out. Not an absolute need but would be nice.

Tires are next priority though on my truck, really wish I could find some 16x7 steelies from an 01-05 Tundra/Tacoma/T100 for cheap.

Ok planning on running out there on Monday to see about the door. Will take some pics and post here if I remember. Really don't need any small parts for the 60 so will probably just be a door recon and hopes/prayers for lift springs (but we all know that aint happening).

How did it look Greg? I am interested in the hubs. Were they still there? If they turn easy--Hmm I may be interested.
Anyone know what they charge for locking hubs.?

Ended up not getting up there as I forgot about an appt I had to take the wife too. Think the website says that for locking hubs they are like $40/ea. Hoping to get up there next weekend/early week as I have time off from work.

:bounce:Thanks Greg. Maybe I can get up there this week. That is a bargin if they are working. And I can't get the one I was rebuilding back together. GRRRRR:worms:

If anyone goes down there, I need that marker light on the front driver fender, and the fuse box cover/door. How time consuming is getting the rear heater out? I don't want to put anyone out though, so only if someone will already be there. I'll pay for the part, and your time. I will be in Reno the 6 and 7 of December, I can pick it up then. If no one can get down there let me know, I have a friend that works at TEC Eq and I can have him swing in there.

I was up there Saturday. I only wanted the marker light, and fuse box door, really I promise... sigh... Neither of those were there. I snagged both front doors, going to make some summer doors, also grabbed the back hatch and tailgate. Other misc. stuff, washer fluid bottle, a few dash switches, and rear seat heater! She's pretty picked clean now, sad to see one like that, because it is so rust free and most of the body is in really good shape. Oh well, she will live on through others.
