I've had this FJ60 for over 11 years. I bought her from one of the DFW TLCAs founding members. She was in very good aesthetic condition...until the great hailstorm of 4/12.
I've done some recent work to get her prepped for sale including:
New AC compressor and dryer (she blows COLD again)
Brand new Windshield.
Brand new Battery.
Master/Slave clutch cylinder ~ one year ago.
Passed Texas inspection yesterday No emissions required on the old girl, but I have no reason to think she would not pass if required.
The interior is in pretty good shape all things considered.
A few warts that come to mind include:
-Hail damage. Hood and windshield took the brunt, but top has a few dents as well. Luggage rack trim took a hit.
-Leaking power steering pump. I add a little power steering fluid every few months. See the forums for elaborate detail on fixing vs not fixing this issue.
-Traditional rust above wheel wells.
-Solitary crack in dash
-Drivers seat belt decided to stop retracting 2 weeks ago.
-Emergency brake button not working. (E brake is fully functional).
-The Mileage meter pictured is NOT correct. 250k is best estimate.
-Headliner has seen better days.
She has never been ragged out off road to my knowledge. She has been owned by responsible Cruiser owners for 20 of her 30 years.
The neighborhood kids have been eyeing it for years..but I"m going to throw it up here first. Thanks for looking guys.
