Howdy, Mudders.
Please read the entire ad.
Three years ago when I bought this rig it was the cleanest one I could find in CA, NV, OR and AZ. To the best of my knowledge it has never been wrecked or had any body work done. There is very, very minimal rust. There are some nicks and scratches, but they are pretty few and far between.
Stock engine and carb rebuilt about 60k miles ago, and it runs really well. Replaced radiator, water pump, thermostat and some hoses, belts are good. AC needs to be serviced and it has been upgraded to R134. Stock transmission, T-case and axles, shift flawlessly. Oils have been changed everywhere. The suspension has been gone through and rides and handles well. There are new Bilstein 5150 shocks. The springs are a good, low mileage stock set with the full length add-a-leafs. Hi-Steer with this SOA lift. Header and 2-chamber Flowmaster, not too loud. New MSD coil, new ignition wires and a Mallory distributor. The rig has a total of 222,7XX miles.
The interior is pretty darn clean for a 30yo vehicle having never been restored. There is a 4-point roll bar inside. Alpine CD deck with auxiliary out for iPod or satellite radio with 300 watt Rockford Fosgate amp. Kaymar rear bumper and ARB front bumper. Con-Ferr roof rack that has been reinforced, powder-coated and painted. 5 Dick Cepek MT’s 35x12.50x15 with less than 1K miles and new black steel wheels.
Parts I have to go along with the rig not yet installed; Detroit Locker, Auburn limited slip, new shackles and bushings, new larger spring perches for the rear axle, fresh built FJ62 axle (empty) from Valley Hybrids, new 4.88:1 axle gears front and rear (with install kits), extra set of stock springs and some other miscellaneous parts.
I am selling because due to an injury it is difficult for me to get in and out of. If that were not the case, I would keep it and finish my plans to build this up more. I am willing to trade for an equal valued FJ80/LX450, preferably a 1997 model.
I know what this vehicle is, I have had multiple Land Cruisers, I didnt just stumble on it. Do not bother low-balling me especially if you have not requested any additional photos much less seen this rig in person. I will not get into price negotiations via email if you have not seen the vehicle in person. If you send me some BS offer, I will just delete it, do not waste my time and yours. Serious offers and inquiries only PLEASE.
If you want any photos of something specific, let me know and I will email them to you.
Located in Livermore, CA. Asking $8500/bo.
PS. Tried posting pics (but Im at work) and that is not working out. I will add some later on today.
