I bought my cruiser in 1997 in FL from the second owner. Was on a farm originally, was being used as a work truck. Has 128,000 miles on odo, although prior owner broke the speedo cable and estimated about 30K miles on it that were not recorded. I fixed the cable after purchase so all my miles are on there. At time of purchase I also had rust repaired throughout and a full paint job. Currently some rust has returned on the fenders.
Truck passed inspection in 2008 and again last week. On the Carfax it shows a fail in 2008; this was due to the rear passenger seatbelt not retracting (a nickel was rolled up in the belt). FYI, in Mass there is no emmissions test for a truck this age.
From 2003-2008 truck was in storage and since then I have done the following to make her road worthy:
Refinished gas tank (gas-tank.com)
Rebuilt carb
New fuel pump
New smog pump & hoses
Replaced vacuum hoses
Replaced carb and aircleaner gaskets
New PS pump & hoses
New transfer case seals
New output shaft seals
New radiator & thermostat
New rear shocks
Brakes serviced
Installed Pioneer CD player
Installed Kenwood speakers in stock location using stock grilles
Other features:
BFG All Terrain tires
Wet Okole seat covers (black & gray)
Original Toyota tool kit & jack
Class 3 trailer hitch
Hella Fog Lights
Includes 1 set replacement wiper blades
Includes 1 replacement air filter
Includes box of mics. replacement smog parts (off eBay)
Includes new in box alternator
Includes vacuum gauge & extra hose (not yet installed)

Plenty of receipts & records available
She runs pretty smooth - I've been driving back and forth to the Cape and no issues.
